Granuloma

by Dale18, Feb 08, 2008 01:33PM
Hi.  Went for a CT Scan of Paranasal sinuses due to chronic pressure. They noted on the report (findings that i had some sphenoid sinus inflammation) a mild calcification granuloma. I talked to my ordering dr who called the radiologist who did the report. The said it did not look suspicious and looked old with no inflammation. It is behind my sinus in the right frontal lobe. It is 8x2 mm. They said I could get an MRI if I wanted to. Should I be concerned and go to a neurologist? What could have caused this? Thanks in advance.
