Possible PCOS - links with eating too much sugar?

by cj163, Feb 09, 2008 09:27AM
Hi,

I havent had any tests done but have some of the symptoms of PCOS. Is it true that you could make PCOS worse by eating too much sugar? I have a really sweet tooth and am always craving carbs.

Thanks!

Yeah PCOS  means that you don't distribute your sugers correctly.  I have a book on it and your suppose to watch your carb inake...for every 14 grams of carbs you are suppose to have 7 grams of protein..and in a two hour period you arent suppose to have more than 30 carbs because your body will store what it doesnt use. There is a book called PCOS dietbook and it is really helpful, I got it from Amazon for 9.00.
