LEAKING AFT V V F REPAIR

On july,24,2007 I had an abdominal hysterectomy to remove painful fibroid tumors. The hysterectomy went bad. My body swelled like a balloon ripped the staples open there was blood & water every where I had to be sent home 10 days later with an open abdomin 13" long & 2.3" deep horrible. Soon after I notice water running down my legs I thought this is weird I figured it would stop. It didn't stop it got worse & worse. Doctor said it's a v v f. I had a foley twice & took it out twice because it just leaked down the line & I had to wear adult diapers & I lost my job in the food buisness. The first surgery I had on it was with a suprapubic cathiter & bio glued the fistula. Well that didn't work so then they did it vaginally. I had to wear that supra pubic thing for 5 months. I had my vaginal repair done Dec,10,2007 & everything seemed fine. but I found I don't have control over my bladder & sometimes bowels. I haven't been leaking alot just enough to still have to wear a pad. But I am concerned about it coming back & the pain I have on my left side about 2 inches from my abdominal incission hurts so much I am still in a lot of pain and am worried should i be?
