Follow recommendations of your retinal specialist.  This is a vague question and there are many factors to consider - including how well treatment is working, how bad the pdr is, co-existing conditions, degree of diabetes control.  Worse cases need to be seen more oftent - while stable, well controlled cases can be seen less often - but always on a regular basis for both.
