PANCREATIC CANCER

by horses1016, Feb 13, 2008 09:41PM
My aunt was recently diagnosed with T4 N1 pancreatic cancer. My questions are how to ease the back pain and what exactly does the T4 and N1 mean?

easing the back pain is up to doctors

T4-N1 mean it is in late stage and has spread to surrounding lymph nodes

I am so sorry about your aunt. The back pain is probably the result of nerve damage. Talk to a pain management doctor. She needs lyrica. (nerve damage pain relief)
Also, hydromorph helps with pain from the actual cancer.
