We believe we have ingested Formaldehyde fumes and have had a cough for 5 months with slight white yellowish flem, what meds can be prescribed to clear this up?

Inhaling formaldehyde is not a common cause of chronic cough with yellow productive sputum.  Your doctor has to listen to your chest, get a chest xray, and possibly spirometry and even CT scan.
