Temporary Crown Broke

My temporary crown came off while I was eating and unfortunately I bit down on it and cracked it in half. My dentist is not open for 3 days. The area doesn't seem sensitive. Is it imparative that I have it fixed right away or can I leave the tooth without a temporary crown on for 3.5 more days? Any suggestions?

I am sorry the answer came so late but there was a problem with the site. But if I had answered the question on time I would have told you it would be ok until you saw your dentist.
