Language based learning disability or Mixed receptive language disorder

by Trixie6468, Feb 16, 2008 11:11PM
Hi, dd just had 6th session with neuropsych and he keeps telling me that it is going very slow, she does not pay attn at certain points, he said it is like she drifts off when the questions get hard.  He has told me she is not autistic but has moderate to severe language problems/ADD/CAPD and anxiety.  My dd is 7yo and in the first grade, has anyone ever heard of these problems associated with language based LD?  Or could it be mixed receptive expressive language disorder?  Has anyone ever heard of MSDD (multi system developemental disorder)?  He said it is under the PDD umbrella but not on the autism spectrum. Can anyone help me to make sense of this?!!  Please Help me comprehend all this!
