Is it a penile fracture?

I had an irrection and as I stood up I pushed down on it (pushed on the so that it was angled downwards).  I heard a "pop" sound, but felt no pain, and did not lose my errection.  Could this be a penile fracture?  I would like to know so that if it is I can immediately seek treatment to avoid long-term complications.  Thanks

Eeeeek, penile fractures are rare, and usually are associated with alot of pain.  It involves the Tunica Albuginea breaking, so usually you'd immediately lose your erection.  But popping sounds are also reported.  The signs point to NO, you're probably OK, but I'd get it checked out just to be safe.  There is less chance of complication if you get it ckecked out the same day, otherwise, if you did break it, there can be some very nasty side effects such as scarring, curvature, and impotence.  I read that if fractures are dealt with on the same day, they can usually be repaired without side effctes, but if they are left beyond 24-48 hours, they are much harder to deal with.

Better safe than sorry, especially where Mr Johnson is concerned...

Same thing happened to me, its a very scary thing.
and it can lead to phsycological damage.
You may have temporary erectile dysfunction, but this just might be
phsycosymatic.
See a doctor.

I have had my penis pop while Ihad an erection. I would almost compare it to poping your knuckles, Its just like a socket pop kind of thing. Penil fractures are usually followed with extreme swelling and bruising, not to mention your fair share if pain. What are the symptoms of your problem? How has it changed since the incident?

Also to freddy, yes these kind of problems can cause severe psycoligical damage, I speak from experience. Even if there is a problem, you need to learn to control your mind and control your thoughts, or they will control you. Discipline yourself, and seek the answer. All things happen for a reason and good things come to those who wait.
