Sharp upper back pain

by llanemcdevitt, Feb 17, 2008 04:18PM
I felt midly weak today and layed in bed most of the day.  My kids are recovering from a stomach/intestinal virus and I felt like I was getting it too.  However, I am experiencing very sharp pains on the right upper side of my back (an inche or 2 below my right shoulder blade).  Do you have any ideas as to what this could be?  Could it be an infection in my liver or kidneys?
