Yellow Jaundice

I need to find information about yellow jaundice. As a small child, my mother had to be hospitalized with yellow jaundice. After she recovered, she had many health problems, which included "Congestive Heart Failure." I need to know what caused my mother to get yellow jaundice so bad, she had to be put in the hospital as a child? Plus, is jaundice linked with congestive Heart failure?"
