brain/visual field/pituitary tumor

by red336, Feb 19, 2008 09:06AM
About a year ago, for about 3 to 4 months straight when I would look out of the far corner of either eye, the images would be in a broken pattern like a zig zag.  There wasn't a blank field, the images were just distorted.  I didn't have migraine issues, never have.  It didn't go away for quite a while.  I should have had my vision checked but didn't.  I had been dx'd with a pituitary microadenoma years ago and have had it checked with an MRI.  the findings were it was still there, and I had less than 5 supratentorial lesions.  ??  Anyway, I can feel what feels like my brain mildly cramping around to the point where it will "hurt".  Or not.  Not sure what's going on.  I do need some teeth work, and might be an infection, would that cause these symptoms? Any suggestions?  Bipolar runs in my family and I know that can be a form of epilepsy?  Would the symptoms be related?  I want to start somewhere with this.
