Short Sharp pains..tumor?

by celestina, Feb 19, 2008 04:19PM
For the past 4-5months, I've been getting Very Short Sharp pains/headaches in my right frontal lobe. Also, from my right shoulder blade, to my clavicle, and right arm. Just Sharp pains. The pain in my arm and shoulder is a lot longer than that of my head. I've been reading about sharp pains, and one of the causes is a brain tumor. I also get nauseas, and have involuntary muscle spasms. I'm afraid...i really have no idea what it is.

Hi!

Are you in any kind of medication, all these months that you feel these pains and spasms? Some medicines tend to give you headaches... How often and when do you get the spasms? Have you checked yourself for any deficiencies, like iron or vitamins or for hormonal imbalances? Is your diet balanced? Are you drinking a lot of coffee, are you reasonably hydrated?
Do you feel any of your symptoms during your sleep? Are you basically getting enough or good quality sleep?

I know, a lot of questions... and I'm not a doctor either... thing is, a lot of things could cause your symptoms and not necessarily a brain tumor... I've been having weird pains in the head as well and I can understand how frightening and worrying it is, especially when symptoms are persistent.
Perhaps you're going through a stressful period and these pains could just be psychosomatic.
Check with your doctor.

I do hope you feel better soon! Best of luck! :)
