Do not fight and aurgue with her. give her the set time to do her homework and if she does not do her homework, let it get piled up and let her realise that she is failing her classes. Beleive me sooner or later she will get with it.

when you tell your child that they cant do somthing its going to make them want to do watever it is more
so the more you keep trying to make them get better grades, ground them or fight with them about it the more there not going to not want to do it
my advice to u is to go easy stop pushing it
because most likely once you stop then they will see
the worst that could happen is they get retained or summer school
so dont push see wat happens then write back to tell me wat happend
