Dr. Lupo

Dr, Lupo

I had a neck/ thyroid ultrasound done recently. here was my results

IMPRESSION:  Solid nodule medially at mid pole of left lobe measuring
4 x 3 x 4 mm.
Heterogeneous echotexture involving both lobes.

Flat hypoechoic structure anterior to the isthmus which may represent
a cyst with some debris, measuring 12 mm tall by 5 mm transverse by 3
mm AP.

Solid nodular structure just behind the lower pole of the right lobe,
has echo characteristics would suggest that it is most probably a
small lymph node rather than an enlarged parathyroid gland.

Solid nodules inferior to the left lobe are, unless clinically
suggetsed otherwise, most likely to be small lymph nodes rather than
enlarged parathyroid glands.

Help what does this mean, i am nervous I have had my tsh checked in the past and it borders on hyperthyroid! I am just stressed out and reallly need some answers thank you for your help it is much appreciated!!
