skin tags or genital warts?

by yc88, Feb 20, 2008 08:22PM
about four months ago i had unprotected sexual intercourse with a new partner. Two weeks later i developed these rare skin-colored bumps between my anus and vagina. At first I didnt pay any attention to them because i thought it was just a scab I had developed from having sex. About a week later I had sexual intercourse (unprotected) with my normal partner. He felt them on me and he thought they were abnormal and asked me to go get checked. I have been to several doctors including a dermatologist and all of them diagnosed them as genital wartz. From the research I have done, I know that genital warts don't necessarily begin to show right away. I had a papsmere done and I was positive on chlamydia but not HPV. I had a biopsy done to determine in a more accurate way whether they were actually skin tags or genital warts. My doctor called me back and told me they had diagnosed them as skin tags. Ever since then, I have gotten treatment to get them removed but they don't seem to go away. As a matter of fact ever since I got the biopsy done they have spread to my anus and every time i have sexual intercourse with my usual partner they burn and it hurts like when you get a paper cut or scrape yourself. How can I know what they are? My partner got tested and as well got a biopsy to check if everything was okay with him and he was. I also asked the "new" partner to get tested and everything came out negative on him as well. Im so scared this is very frustrating. I just got another biopsy done to make sure what they really are. I have froze them once and they have actually reduced in size but not completely gone. Can you please help? How did I get them? How can I determine who I got them from?
