Tremors are rare side effects of Effexor. It is worth mentioning to your doctor. Do you get the tremors all the time ?
There are a few other causes for tremors also, but they will be considered after ruling out Effexor side effect. Tremors can be due to a condition of "Essential Tremors" which are familial. There are intention tremors (tremors coming on only when attempting to do some work) cause by cerebellar dysfunction and there are tremors of the Parkinsonian type.
I would suggest you see a Neurologist for this.
