Hello.

Tremors are rare side effects of Effexor. It is worth mentioning to your doctor. Do you get the tremors all the time ?

There are a few other causes for tremors also, but they will be considered after ruling out Effexor side effect. Tremors can be due to a condition of "Essential Tremors" which are familial. There are intention tremors (tremors coming on only when attempting to do some work) cause by cerebellar dysfunction and there are tremors of the Parkinsonian type.

I would suggest you see a Neurologist for this.

Regards

Hello. I too am having these as what I describe for me as a INTERNAL VIBRATION feeling constantly. Some moments its just less notciable then others. But I feel like my cat who purrrrs is laying on me at all times. does that make sense. My muscle feel tense when I feel these tremors and sometimes it escalates into a full shake which I hope is do to the anxiety I feel from having these tremors. Im also having muscle twitching all over as well. But I notice no real weekness in my arms or legs. Fast heart rate but I have tachycardia anyways. Can you elaborate some more on your symptoms or have you found any thing else out from your Drs?

Sounds a lot like you may have anxiety / stress issues. Especially if you notice it after a stressful day, although sometimes people can get symptoms like that out of the blue if they just have a lot of stress in their life over a long period of time. Either way you should go to your Dr. to be sure, make it a point to relax at least an hour a day, and maybe pick up an anxiety workbook.
