I am Faithful

by bisavesu1825, Feb 21, 2008 06:27PM
I have only been with one person my entire life. I am male and 21 years old. It may be hard to believe but it's true. I am currently oversees and I am married to someone who says and I believe have only been with me also. Now going with the fact that she has been faithful back to me. How did we reciever herpes. She hs it in her vaginal area on the week I came back from leave. I'm curious how this could of happened. She blames me but I know I've never been with anyone. Is there any other way besides sex to get herpes. And I've heard the rumors of it being cold sore on lip or that maybee our parents passed it on to us. Is those rumors true is there truth behind any of this.

Yes you can transmit hsv1 to the oral area - almost always thru oral sex.

Has your wife had testing to know if she has hsv1 or hsv2 genitally?

Yes - you do not need to have active lesions present to get the blood test done.

www.herpesdiagnosis.com has terrific info on how to get properly tested for herpes for more reading if you want some.
