Curious?

by Mommy2Tay_Cal, Feb 22, 2008 11:59AM
I plan to breastfeed my son when he is born and I am scheduled for a C section delivery. Will it be more difficult and more painful to breastfeed after a surgical delivery as compared to a vaginal delivery?

it is going to be more uncomfortable and harder to get your little one positiones at first but its not bad. I did it with both  my girls. There were both c section. One positoin to hold them that is less painful for you, due to the incision, is holding your baby like a football. It keeps extra weight and pressure off your stomach. I wont lie, you are going to hurt, even when you arent trying to hold your little one comfortably. But I am sure you will do just fine.
