Meds and pregnancy

by Stephanie26369, Feb 22, 2008 12:23PM
I have been taking Propoxy N/APAP for back pain for the past 2 weeks.  Last week my husband and I were trying to conceive.  I now realize that i shouldnt be taking any medication while I am trying to conceive.  Do you know of any potential problems this may have caused if I am pregnant?  Thanks for your help.

Hello,

It is unlikely you have done any harm to an early pregnancy.  Routine obstetric care in the event of a pregnancy would be warranted.

Best regards,

Dr. Downing
