EYE MUCUS

MY DAUGHTER IS 2 YEARS OLD AND STARTED 3 DAYS AGO WITH A RUNNY NOSE WITH CLEAR MUCUS AND FEVER. TODAY SHE NOW HAS A RUNNY NOSE WITH GREEN MUCUS AND FEVER OF 102.3 AND SHE HAS A COUGH TO WHERE IT SOUNDS LIKE SHE'S GOING TO VOMIT. SHE HAS CHILLS AND WANTS TO SLEEP ALOT AND HER BREATHING SOUNDS KINDA SHORT. SHE WOKE UP THIS MORNING WITH EYES CAKED SHUT WITH MUCUS. IT SEEMS LIKE IT'S COMING FROM HER TEAR DUCTS AND IS THICK GREEN. IF I CLEAN IT IN A FEW MINUTES IT'S LITERALLY RUNNING OUT HER EYE AGAIN. I'M SCARED AND DON'T KNOW IF I SHOULD TAKE HER TO THE E.R. . THE FEVER WON'T GO AWAY WITH MOTRIN, IT JUST KEEPS COMING BACK. PLEASE HELP.

If they had admitted him, It would have been to check for kawasaki desease,..look it up,..it is scary. however, every parent should know it can happen! My son, even had slight swelling on his hands,..but other than being tired, is doing a ton better,..
Please don't wait as long as I did,..the eye problem, either way, will need antibiotics,...
