ck levels

Hi  i'm new here and was trying to get any info on why my husbands ck levels are going high and then lowering. he has been sent to a rheumatoligist but so far were in limbo. his last readings were 2100..and before they were 800, 546, 345, 700, and this last one. they told him if it continues to rise his kidneys could shut down???...please any help would be greatly appriciated...uma.
