Hey..I have a quick question. Does the use of topical salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide have any adverse side effects, such as skin cancer?

None at all.  Both ingredients are common in over-the-counter products and quite safe.  Benzoyl peroxide causes allergic reactions in some patients, but these are just mild irritations that go away as soon as the medication is stopped.
