well...after three years of none stop mouth ulcers...diarrhea...lactose intolerance...and sometimes crippling IBS...i think i will finally take the time to get the tests done :)

doctor after doctor...biopsies from my mouth...and finally i found a specialist who feels sure i have celiac sprue.  i have not gone to get my blood tests done...but i am going to put this on my "to do" list.  after leaving his office...coming home and reading about the gluten free diet...i think i just kind of went into denial.  this is going to take alot of work!

Be sure to know about the different tests for celiacs, Genetic, Antibodies, Biopsy, Fecal and that you need to continue eating gluten for all except genetic.  Also basically all of the tests, except genetic and have false negatives.  So the best way to see for yourself is to go gluten free for at least a month and see if you feel better.
