chronic non specific cervicitis

by reetu453, Feb 25, 2008 12:38AM
My mother 66 years, has got PAP smeasr test done recently. the report says: Maturation index 40/40/20, no endocervical cells seen, no evidence of dysplasia, cytolysis present, background shows polymorphs, no candida seen. with the opinion "Chronic non specific cervicitis". Earlier her urine culture showed presence of pus cell and she was prescribed antibiotic "Levoflox" for 7 days od. This was after her PAP sample. Her urine sample also showed presence of 1-2 RBC.

She also a Hyper tension patient and is on Arkamine, Clopidogeral A, Ramistar A and Stalopam.
please advise whether is there something serious in her PAP report. And is she undergoing the correct treatment. She is also nowdays feeling weak, really don't know is it becoz of age or becoz of medicines.
thanks
reetu
