5-yr old vomiting at lunchtime

This discussion is related to Son not adjusting to Kindergarten.

My 5-yr old son has gone through 2 years of preschool and did well.  He started kindergarten fine last year, but for the last few months, had been vomiting at lunchtime.  Asking him why, he responded that he ate too fast.  To address this, his school was going to first move him at lunchtime to a separate table and be facing away from the other students with a garbage can nearby.  My wife was in tears at this response.  Next, the school moved him to the end of a table, near the trashcans where the students empty their trays after eating.  This table is still kids his age, but not his class.  About three weeks ago, he got worse and vomited 3 times that week, again, at lunchtime.  The last time I was there and made sure to encourage him to eat slow and he did, but still vomited in the trashcan and again right before going out to recess.  The school then would not let him back until he saw his pediatrician and got a note to come back to school.  The school was convinced that it was a food allergy, but the doctor had a different opinion.  After aking my son a few questions, he opened up about a kid that had been bullying him at recess; telling him that he can't go on a particular swing and telling other boys not to play with him.  To rule out any medical condition, the doctor gave my son, Previset for 2 weeks.  He has not vomitted once in school in those 2 weeks.  However, today, he did, even after taking the Previset.  The school called my wife to pick up my son and take him home.  My wife and I are very upset about the way the school is handling this and event he doctor believes this is more psychological stress from bullying and the fact that recess is right after lunch rather than a medical condition; otherwise, he'd be throwing up at home!  I am looking for advice.
