Hello,
I am happily married from 10 years and have aissue of 7 years. we are trying for another one.

Recently ny Hubby went for SA. The results are as:
Volume -2ml
count 30 Mil
motility 48%
Motility Grade 1.5
Kruger morphology 1%

What are our chances and what is the path forward. Last year in 2007 march he has gone SA with count 60 Mil with 60% motility ,grade and Kruger was not performed.

Althogh doctor suggest him to mean an Urlogist and ask us for keep trying.

Thanks,

Was the semenanalysis done by a specialized infertility lab? I would recommend a second semenanalysis, at a specialized infertility lab. If morphology is low again, then your two choices would be IVF with intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) which will allow abnormally shaped sperm to fertilize the egg, vs seeing a urologist to see if there is a varicocele, and repairing the varicocele if there is one.

Hi, I had the same issue with my hubby. Morphology/ motility and quanity were very low.. volume 2mil/ count 10mil and kruger 1%..... the uroligist suggested a surgery to fix the varicocele (which is supposedly what he has), we did it and it went up very very slightly... we tried for another 6 months and no success.. so we went to an RE and they suggested IVF with ICSI beacsue of the hubby's issue... I jst had my transfer on 2/20 and are waiting for results... keep in mind i have everything ok with me (knock on wood... also, we were told iui is not an option becasue of hubby's issue... hope this helped.

keep me posted..
