inflamming gum

by SuHam, Feb 25, 2008 12:34PM
My upper left gum, above my third to back tooth has had fluctuating inflammation. The teeth there are a little sore when I bite down, but I don't have any cavities in that area and I am not on any antibiotics. There is no bleeding and I brush my teeth at least 3 times a day. Any ideas what could be wrong?

It does seem that for some reason there is inflammation present.Usually the gum will bleed but what bothers me is the fact that you can not bit on the teeth.Another possibility is a sinus problem.I would see your dentist asap.
