HELLO you can edit your journal but you can't edit a post on the forum

Many people on this forum have alot of clean time from using just this forum. Many more have successfully gone through ct and you can do that at home as well as at a treatment facility. If you can get into a treatment facility I would say do so however it's the aftercare that is more important. You can do out patient, get a councelor who specializes is addiction for aftercare but some don't have insurance and some...like me just want our addiction kept from the people around us. You can find an NA group in your area via google and that's free and great aftercare(I'm not doing that either but know it would help and am concidering it) Also this forum is great. Many/most who go to rehab relapse also if they do not continue with some sort of aftercare. Do what you are able to do with the resources that you have and your feelings on what will work best for you. What works for some does not always work for others. Get allof the support that you can but do not let ANYONE tell you the words you can't. Having those thoughts in your head can only hinder your recovery. This is very tough and most don't make it so give it all you got, listen to the people who have and if you do fall know that most have...even after rehab. The important thing is to get right back on your plan for recovery learn where you went wrongand continue toward your goal. Keep posting, going to
meetings, talking to family and allow your support system to help you. Corey

Also you cannot change /edit this thread but you can keep posting on the same thread each day to let us know how it's going and it will bump it back up to current. You can also use your journal or just begin a new post. All of your posts can be looked at from your profile page if you click on ??I think it's watched topics in the top right of your profile page.
