by IreneK1990, Feb 26, 2008 07:03AM
I want to have an eating disorder, so much.Sometimes i have bulimic episodes(i eat too much without control or without being able to stop eating, without being hungry) but i never purge.Sometimes i starve myself, even though i know the dangers, i know the difficulties, i know that my life will be miserable and i still want an eating disorder.I don't know why i post this.Has anything like this happened to anyone??

Well honey, you'd never know how much you really regret the day you get stuck in it - and how it destroys your life.
Why do you really want an ED? The control you gain is temporary.

Positives:    0

Negatives (immediate effects and latter effects):

- Osteoporosis
- Anxiety
- Depression
- No energy
- Loss of sleep
- Overfocus on food, eating and performing well
- Fainting, causing all eyes to focus on YOU (do you really want that?)
- Friends run out of things to talk with you about
- Constantly freezing
- Starting to worry about how to hide the weightloss
- Lifelong changes to your health
- In all health matters, your GP will most likely think "psychology" before anything.

The list is longer than this - consider the worry you give yourself and your family and friends. It has to be something else you can do than this.

Dear, I know what it is to consider getting control by wanting to take control of something you seemingly can control - but food is and will always be a vital need. We've got to eat to live.
Don't punish yourself now - change your diet to HEALTHY instead. Look into ways to eat that gives you a positive attitude to life.

I don't say this to be mean.

Do you have anyone you can talk to about this?

If you like, you could PM me.
