Pregnancy and Yeast Infection

by cantu0908, Feb 26, 2008 11:53AM
I am 30 weeks pregnant with baby #3. I am pretty sure I have a yeast infection. Can I take something to take care of it while pregnant?

Hello,

You can use over the counter preparations such as Monistat.  Also, you physician can prescribe you medication, vaginal or oral (e.g., Diflucan).

Best regards,

Dr. Downing
