Ineffective LEEP

by Cl0ckw0rk, Feb 26, 2008 02:53PM
I had a LEEP performed in August to remove abnormalities which ranged to CINIII, following the LEEP the Dr. cauterized my cervix (this was during the same procedure) to ensure that even if he had not gotten clean borders, what was left was dealt with. Now, my follow-up pap smear has again come back with ASCUS. I am scheduled for another colposcopy with biopsies, but my question is this. As my dysplasia had progressed into my cervical canal, should I also ask the Dr to perform a Pipelle endometrial sampling? I was told by a nurse in a different office that they always perform this procedure when the cervical os is affected. However, my Dr. has never even mentioned such a thing.
