test results: no answers

Posted to this site on 11/7/07 and saw neuro. had LP which was zero. R/O of MS. Sleep apnea found, placed on CPAP. Small fiber neuropathy most likely, but not what type for EMG (no diabetes). Seems more progressive for my age 53. Upper muscle of hands between thumbs and index fingers symmetric atrophy and wasting with clawing of index fingers milder on the rest. Feet are the same (little toes underneath toes next to them). loss of muscle on both extremities (distal to proximal). Having wicked muscle weakness in legs and arms in cold, hot temps. Can be hot and not feel it but look sunburned. Cold feet often. Shooting pains in legs, cramping muscles in legs/arms, palms of feet, arches of feet and calves (CTS as well, wakes me at night-all of these). Frequent sprains of ankles over years. All blood work: ANA, titers, metabolic NORMAL! What does this mean? dizziness still, out of balance, eye pupils change from unequal sizes to now always LARGE. Difficulty walking longer than 1 hour, with fatigue in arms after looking through clothes racks in stores 30 minutes. Had numb areas, cold or hot feelings on body when younger varied places, face is getting thin too and lower legs seems rapid. Intermittent low back pain bad. What can this neuropathy mean? Why the sudden acceleration in symptoms? My son born with inward feet, knock knees had PT, his daughter also, had PT as infant. Had pass out feelings when younger upon standing up. Still have not as bad. Just would like relief to have some energy....Thanks, BetteB
