neck and back pain with numbness

i had a mri that diagnosed intervertebral osteochondrosis. would like to know what this means

hi,it is degenerative process of the spine involving the vertebral body end-plates, the nucleus pulposus,  and the anulus fibrosus, which is characterized by disc space narrowing.

This is usually treated by taking pain killers,physiotherapy,restricted movements.

Please consult Orthopedic surgeon for evaluation.
