osteosarcoma or osteochomdroma?

by Sawyer1995, Feb 27, 2008 10:43PM
My 12 year old son had a large osteochondroma removed a year ago Feb. 16th. It is growing back. We've had it x-rayed and MRI. They found an area of osteochondritis dissecans, and another area of "abnormal bone growth". We have been referred to an orth. oncologist. In the mean time, I'm making myself crazy trying to decipher the images and diagnose him myself.
So I guess my question is :What kind of questions do I need to be sure and ask the Dr. at his next appt.? I want to be prepared and on top of things.
