not sure what is happening

by monkeygirl1980, Feb 28, 2008 02:16AM
recently i have been noticing that im repeating words when im speaking.  it seams to be getting worse and im not sure why im doing this.  i had an mri of head and spine and it all came up clear.  i havent had any stressful experiences or stuff like that (though have being fighting and being treated for depression).  There is neurofibromatosis in the family (type 1) and i have read that speach problems are common with this but i thought that that would be present during childhood but hey what do i know.  this is becoming frustrating adn embarrising because it is becoming very evident and i cant seem to hide it anymore.  I have being having problem with my balance, my r leg (pain, numbness, weakness) coordination problems and am dropping things alot along with vision and hearing problems.  the doctors and specialists dont seem to know what is wrong or what is causing these problems i know this isnt a dignostic site but any ideas that i can take back to the drs im seeing would be helpful (have read that some of these symptoms are common with the onset of nf2)
