unsure on where to start

i am 24 and my husband is 37, i have poly-cystic ovarian syndrome and my husband has had a vasectomy. i am very worried about what procedue we will have to go to and whether or not we can actually fall due to a doctor saying that the longer the vasectomy to less chance there is to have a baby, could anyone give me advice on what do to, where do we start, and are the odds against us?
