Lymphoma

I have noticed a painless hard lump on the epidedymis on my right testicle, and the doctor had to removed the testicle as he couldn't cut away the mass.  I'm 24 and the doctor says I must go for therapy to burn any possible cancerous cells that might be left behind. My question is that, what are the chances of having healthy babies after the treatment in your experience.
Also after the surgery where they had removed the testicle I noticed a swelling which is almost the same size as the testicle, had formed which is painfull, should I worry about it, or is it cut bloodvessels healing in that area?  The doctor saw it but was not alarmed about it.  But the pain is not going away 10 days later.

I have a friend who had testicular cancer a few years ago. Had one testicle removed, plus chemo or some sort of treatment. He is now the proud father of a healthy baby. Good luck to you.
