Talipes (club foot) linked with CP??

Last one, just looking for more links...Do any children with cerebral palsy here also have talipes??

My 13 yr old son was just diagnosed with CP last January (2007) and developed a clubfoot over the past 2 years.  He was not born with either condition, so we are seeking a diagnosis of a possible neuro-degenerative condition.  He developed dystonia and spasticity in 2005/2006, and he also has autism and epilepsy (diagnosed at age 5 and 6 respectively).  The neurologists he has seen told us that his CP did not cause the clubfoot.

My son was diagnosed at age 3 (officially). He also had club foot. Both feet. But his right was due to an IV infiltrate at 2 months that destroyed the growth plate, tendons, ligaments, muscle, and nearly all tissue on the inner aspect of his ankle. Over the years his fibula would grow but his tibia would not. That pushed his foot inward and upward.
As for his left foot...the 'true' club foot...CP is a disorganization of muscles, since there are muscles in your legs, ankles and feet, depending on how the muscles are affected the CP can contribute to club foot. This was what I was told by my son's entire group of physicians.
