Lyme, Shingles, Aneurysm

I am concerned about my friend whose brain aneurysm was successfully coiled (a second time) 2 years ago.  She has now developed a very bad case of shingles which has lead me to search the net  to ascertain if there is any correlation.  On one "Shingles" site, it is said that this condition is sometimes misdiagnosed and that Lyme disease is the culprit.  When I visited the Lyme disease site, there I found the link.  Untreated Lyme disease, in the later stages, can cause neurological disorders.

Am I on the right track and if so, what do you suggest.
