Advair throat problems

I am taking Advair 250 2x day. I have gravelly throat and sound like a smoker. I am also always trying to clear my throat. I get heavy mucus and choke up. I went off Advair for a couple of days and it went away, but I became short of breath again. Now I have started up using Advair again.
Does anyone have suggestions for preventing the throat problems?

It seems all our asthma meds have a nasty downside.
I still sometimes have difficulty with advair myslf but overall my problems with it have diminished the longer I use it. I am on 500 2x day and hope to be able to reduce the dosage soon.
In the end though, we do what we can to be able to breathe. Good luck and feel better.
