My husband is 64, is not doctering with depression, but i am worried. He sleeps odd hours like waking up maybe 1-30 or 2-0pm. Goes to bed maybe between 12-30 to 1-30,am  will go and lie down in the afternoon also maybe again in the evening , say from7pm to 9pm. He does not always like me wakening him. He smokes, has high colestral, takes medication for the latter also dispersable asprin.
I think if this is depression my son maybe the same, but not sleeping quite so much.
Also odd times getting up during the night ,and not always coming back to bed.
I would like him to see the doctor ,but he will not do that very stubborn.Should he get his blood tested for diabetic?. his answer to all this is he is bored, as he does not work having had a main artery bypass about 8 years ago. If you could give me advice on what he should do,also he is not able to walk up slight inclines or very far, as his legs hurt him. Hope you can help.
