My daughter is now 10 . she could not sit up till she was 1 didnot crawl till she was 18 month and did not walk till she was 2. She had poor coordernation gross motor skill and fine motor skill problems and low muscle tone. I was reffered to a specialist who sent her for a mri scan . we then fould she had a hole in the base of her back so they sent her for a full body mri scan. she still is very clumsy but her coodernation has improved she still has fine motor skill problems! she cant follow multi instructions and the teacher as mentioned that if she is sitting still she is not listening and if she is listening she wont be sat still. I have asked the doctor on a number of occasions what is wrong with her and all i get is they have done all the tests possible and they cant find what is wrong with her! he said there is all different symptoms for all different syndromes what does that mean? i have a family history my nanas uncle had problems pyschicaly and mentally. my aunt is the same and her daughter and my uncle has down syndrome. What else can be done?
