Immodium in First Trimester

I had a surprise pregnancy and found out several weeks into it. I had been very sick during that time and took several doses of immodium. I saw on WebMD that Immodium is a drug that can be taken during pregnancy but only after the first 12 weeks and only for 24 hours. Does that mean the fetus inside me may suffer harm from that medication since it was taken so early in the pregnancy?

I don't think it will harm baby. If you are still concerned, call your doc in the morning and speak with someone who knows more about this particular medicine. I wouldn't sweat it, though.
