I was diagnosed a few months ago with PCOS and Hypothyroidism. I was subsequently prescribed .5 of Levythyroxin and have been on it for approximately 1 month so far. Originally, I had gone to the doctor because I was only getting my period every two or three months. What I'm wondering is if the thyroid medication is going to help at all with getting my period into an actual normal cycle again or if there is something else I should be doing for that issue? Currently, I have not had my period since right after Christmas.
