swelling of one vigina lip?

i dont know what has happened just out of no were one of my vigina lips just swollen up....  i called my mom and she said it could be that a spider had biten one of my lips because i dont wear clothes when i sleep..... and the use vagisil.... i dont know any thing about this and would like an exsperts help.... i dont have health insurence.... so i cant just go to the doctor for something that can be helped with an OTC drug..... please help.....

If you can't/won't go to the doctor, then no one can give you very much help.  Use a cool cloth until the swelling goes down.  If you can, look for a sore in the area.  Often, genital herpes can present this way.

Or it could be a spider bite.  But without a doctor seeing you and doing the right tests, you'll never know.

If it recurs, its probably herpes.
