Moyamoya

by PixieEmily, Mar 04, 2008 01:55AM
I am a 25yo female with Moyamoya. I have had several strokes over the years and have had STA-MCA Bypass surgeries on both sides of the brain, the last one almost 2 years ago. Over the past 6 months I have been experiencing symptoms that at first I assumed to be some sort of TIA... but lately I have been wondering if they could be some sort of seizure (simple-partial...) they are a very brief (sometimes microsecond, sometimes seconds length) episodes where is feels like my brain "shakes" or "spins"... I feel sort of quite dizzy and unsteady and then it goes away. At first these episodes stopped soon after I recommenced taking clopidogrel (after a small TIA a few months ago) but I have been on the clopidogrel 4 months now and just the other day I had another one of these episodes. Any advice? Suggestions? Thanks.
