Chronic cough and congestion

by olsonkathy, Mar 05, 2008 12:43PM
I have had a nasal drip coupled with a chronic cough for over two months.  About a month ago I had a horrible taste in my mouth which apparently came from my nasal drip.  Everyday since then I have a horrible taste in my mouth and I literally cough all day long.  I want to know if I should be concerned with this and can it be cancer?

Yes, this could be cancer, but that is very unlikely.  Far and away, the most likely cause is persistent infection of the nose and sinuses, for which you will probably need antibiotic therapy.
