2 weird lumps on the back of my head?

I have two lumps on the back of my head and have no idea what the are. I went to a dermatologist for acne the other week and she looked at the lump and said that it doesn't look bad and said something about it being like a cell break(?) or something. Anyway, these lumps are behind my right ear but don't cross over to the left side of my head. They don't hurt when I touch them but I have had headache for the past few days. What could these be? The headaches weren't around when I saw my dermatologist so it might not be what she thought it was. And then there was only one so a new little has formed since then and it's only about an inch away. The only thing I think it could be is brain tumor and I'm scared! Please help me figure out what it could be!

Hi.  From your description, the lumps you described seem to me to be enlarged lymph nodes, but the only way to know for sure is to have those lumps thoroughly examined.  Your dermatologist may not be the best person to assess those lumps.  My suggestion is to have them examined either by a surgeon or an internal medicine specialist.  You may also need to have a biopsy of those lumps done, but that decision is best left to the doctor who's going to see you.
