Muscle pain in my left thigh

by kaygee1028, Mar 06, 2008 01:15AM
Excuse me if this isn't the right forum.

My leg has been hurting for a few months now and I'm not sure what I did to it. It's just one muscle in my left thigh that hurts daily and forces me to walk with a limp most of the time. It sounds to me like I pulled a hamstring but does that take months to heal? The pain has been the same every day but feels better when I exercise it awhile and hurts a lot when I sit for long durations.

Just read your posting on your calf pain.  Pleasse get this checked out !!  You may have a blood clot and this can be serious.  I have had 4 of them and they can break off and move to your heat if you are not careful.  I hope that you have resoled this problem and good luck.

Could it be your sciatic nerve?  Sometimes the pain isn't felt in the back, but in your thigh and can be just HORRIBLE.  Also, I'd be worried about a blod clot as well.  Seems like you need to get it all checked out.

Hope it turns out well.

You have gotten some very good advice. I have sciatic problems and my left thigh hurts too. It is really bad in the mornings and at night it gets so bad I can't sleep. I would get it checked out as the others have said it could be a blood clot and that is very serious. Good luck and if you have any more questions please ask away:)
